The house is situated in a spot that has always been connected to wine-making. At the turn of the last century, the daughter of the family at Chateau Loudenne
branched out on her own, building La Folie and running her own operation, growing, vinting and selling her own wines. The sunny home is all on one floor — it has two queen bedrooms, a double-twin room, a classic French separated bathroom, kitchen living-dining room, parking, and laundry facilities. And of course wifi! You can pick up groceries just a few steps away in the village at Sophie's Petit Vival. In the town of Lesparre, a 15-minute drive away, you can find all conveniences including the train station, grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants. The rest of the Médoc with its villages and great wine estates is at your doorstep to explore! Our vineyard grows grapes for Cave Saint Brice, the village's co-op winery. Photos by Debra Campbell |
